Six Calorie Burning Guidelines

You may have heard that people who have lost extra pounds of their weight just switching to diet soda and walking a few minutes every day. These are small practices that give you a huge difference and boost your metabolism over time.  You will lose weight faster by boosting your metabolism and burning your extra calories.

1. Eat Fat

By consuming some servings of healthy fats each day you will really boost your calorie burning. Aim incorporating fats like olive oil, Flaxseed oil, salmon, hempseed oil, avocados, albacore tuna, nuts & seeds in your diet daily.

2. Use Weights While Exercising

Exercise with weights boosts your metabolism very fast. It will build muscle tissue, and muscle tissue is metabolically active, so this metabolic activity needs calories still when you are doing nothing and at rest.

3. Move, Move, and Move

Inactive people burn less calories as compared to active people. Your every little movement will burn calories. Keep yourself motivated to move every day. Following are some suggestions for burning extra calories:

  • Move backward and forward your legs
  • Move your head both sides
  • Twist
  • Pace up and down
  • Tighten and loose your muscles
  • Stretch yourself
  • Change position your position frequently  
  • Park in the extreme corner of the parking area
  • Use stairs


4. Eat Small Meals

Its good idea to take small meals every 2 to 3 hrs, it will keep your metabolism burning more quickly than taking larger meals with big intervals. It will keep your body all the time working to digest food which needs energy.

5. Eat Some Spicy Food

Hot spices may boost your metabolism.  Simply 1/2 a tea-spoon of cinnamon every day can aid boost metabolism.

6. Take Protein

Protein needs more complex chemical breakdown by your body in order to be digested and used as fuel. Hundred protein calories take up to thirty calories to process. Eat protein at all meals and as snacks and you will boost the overall number of calories you burn every day.
